“Hello and welcome to the RockerFellas website! My name is Derek and I am the Founder and Director of RockerFellas Adventure Pte Ltd. I have been climbing for the past 18 years and am still actively climbing very regularly till today! I was initially into body building, but eventually found my calling and passion in climbing, as well as being able to impart knowledge to my students. In the past 12 years as a climbing instructor, I have conducted more than 200 courses, so you can imagine how many students have gone through me! I also love travelling overseas to hike and climb – my favourite places are China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia. It was this passion for adventure travelling that led me to create RockerFellas Adventure back in 2014, despite having to juggle a full-time job as well, so that I could share my passion and make adventure trips more accessible for climbers and trekkers of all levels.
